Detroit Smart Parking Lab Demonstration Project

The Michigan Future Mobility Plan aims to install 100,000 vehicle chargers to support 2 million electric vehicles by the year 2030.

In August 2022, Voltpost was awarded a grant from the Michigan Economic Development's Michigan Mobility Funding Platform to deploy its lamppost charger.

Voltpost deployed its charging platform at the Detroit Smart Parking Lab to test the system, capture data, and engage partners for Voltpost deployment in Michigan. DSPL is sponsored by Ford, Bedrock, Bosch, NextEnergy, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
